SharePoint Filter, Problem with parameters and function ‘contains’

When configuring advanced filters on lists using SharePoint Designer 2010, you can lose some basic filter cunctionality on lists / library if you use funtion ‘contains’.

You can find some useful commands on the out of the box filter on the list. Besides sorting commands you can find all values from the selected column as you can see on the following picture:

When you use function ‘contains’ in filter and that filter compares the rows against the parameter value, out of the box filter does not work properly any more (e.g. loses some functionality).  See the following pictures:

Parameter creation for usage in filter
Returns only rows that contain value from parameter
Filter does not contain column values any more

I think it must be a bug.
