How to view remote server file structure in the local Windows Explorer?


1. Open Windows Explorer

2. Write the path to the server file structure in the following form:

Example 1: This is the path to the root directory on the server “server_name” on the C:\ disc.

\\server_name\c$

Example 2: This is the path to the “System32” directory on the server “server_name” on the C:\ disc.

\\server_name\c$\Windows\System32

3. The system asks you for your credentials.

4. After succesfull login you can freely navigate around the server file structure.
